My final skill is Attitude. The KSA of Attitude and Practical Excellence deals with respecting other, being attentive and ready to learn, and completing tasks according to assigned requirements. Every since I was in elementary school, I have demonstrating and outstanding attitude in everything I do. I have always been an attentive student which has led me to be an attentive employee as well. I always complete my assignments on time, and if possible even before hand. This would be another example of my excellent time management and organizational skills. I was raised to treat others with the respect and in return expect the same from my peers. I always have an open ear to anything suggestion or idea anyone has. Having a very open attitude towards things, is a great skill to possess especially in an environment where one must work with other team members.
An example this skill would have to be anytime I work with fellow co-workers. I recently had to work with another employee at State Farm in order to design a marketing flyer. We both had different ideas on what we wanted on the flyer. I listened to her ideas and took everything she said into consideration. In the end, I feel that we came up with the best possible design using not just mine but her ideas as well.
Bringing a good attitude to any job is something that I can definitely do. I have learned to be upbeat and encouraging, even when I am feeling the oppositie. Working with kids has taught me how to do this; in that type of atmosphere you can never look down. I feel that my excellent attitude will help me add value to any job I may have in the future.
