Communication can be either oral, written, electronic, or graphic, and is one the most important skills to posses in any kind of business atmosphere. Having good communication skills can be the difference between a sale or not. While working with State Farm I have greatly improved my communication skills. I am constantly on the phone with policyholders, marketing to them products and services that State Farm offers. I have added value to the State Farm agency I work for by being persuasive and having customers purchase insurance with us. In group settings, I will always voice my ideas and opinions in hopes that one of my ideas will help our agency out. I have also come up with many different marketing flyers, that are sent out in the mail to State Farms current customers. Below is an example of one of my marketing flyers.
